Motorcycle Safety ERC: Experienced Rider Course

This course is designed for the experienced rider who wants to learn more about reducing the risk of riding. The course consists of 5 hours of training/practice on your own motorcycle in a parking lot under the watchful and helpful eyes of trained instructors.

 

EXPERIENCED RIDER COURSE (ERC) – 1 DAY (5 HOURS) - $25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE TUITION

 

1.       YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE WITH A MOTORCYCLE ENDORSEMENT. IT IS SUGGESTED THAT YOU HAVE YOUR ENDORSEMENT A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS, AND HAVE RIDDEN A MINIMUM OF 500 MILES BEFORE TAKING THE CLASS.

 

2.       MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR CLASS DATE AND TIME WHEN REGISTERING, AS RECEIPTS DO NOT GIVE COMPLETE CLASS INFORMATION.

 

3.       THE DAY OF CLASS, BRING YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE WITH ENDORSEMENT, YOUR MOTORCYCLE REGISTRATION, AND PROOF OF CURRENT INSURANCE COVERAGE ON YOUR MOTORCYCLE.  YOU MUST ALSO WEAR THE PROPER RIDING GEAR – LONG SLEEVE SHIRT OR JACKET, FULL SLACKS OR JEANS (WITHOUT HOLES OR TEARS), A SHOE OR BOOT THAT COVERS YOUR ANKLE, FULL-FINGERED GLOVES, AND A MINIMUM OF A DOT APPROVED HELMET. YOU MUST USE YOUR OWN MOTORCYCLE.

 

4.       CLASSES ARE CONDUCTED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE BUILDING, ABOUT MID-WAY DOWN. YOU WILL SEE AN OPEN OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR WHEN YOU ARRIVE.

 

5.       YOU MUST HAVE 100% ATTENDANCE TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THIS PROGRAM. PLEASE BE PROMPT, AS CLASSES START ON TIME. PLEASE ALLOW TIME FOR TRAFFIC, WEATHER, ETC. YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED ONCE CLASS STARTS, AND YOUR TUITION WILL NOT BE REFUNDED!

 

BRING A LUNCH/SNACK/DRINK, AS YOU WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO LEAVE THE TRAINING AREA DURING THE BREAKS.
