GED Practice Tests

Practice tests are offered at both day and evening sessions. Attendance at a minimum of two class sessions (including registration) is required before taking the GED Practice Test.  Those who pass the Practice Test with an average score of 450 or better are given a “fee waiver” form to cover the cost of the Official GED Test. Those under 19 years of age must be officially withdrawn from school and bring a completed age waiver form. You must have with you a valid Ohio Driver’s License, Ohio I.D. or your passport to receive your fee waiver.

GED Test

The General Educational Development test is designed to measure the student’s academic knowledge and skills.  The test is offered both days and evenings. You must be registered and approved by the state GED Office prior to testing.

Official GED Test rules require that applicants be officially withdrawn from elementary or secondary school and be nineteen (19) years of age or older.  Those under 19 years of age must be officially withdrawn from school and bring a completed age waiver form signed by the Superintendent. Those 16 to 17 years of age must also have their parent or guardian sign a form. Forms are available in the GED or ABLE Office.  For additional information, visit the Ohio Department of Education website:  www.ode.state.oh.us/curriculum-assessment/assessment/GED.
