Introduction to Mandarin Chinese (32 hrs.) NEW
Introduction to Mandarin Chinese will give you a broad foundational grasp of the principles behind Mandarin Chinese and introduce you to conversational expressions useful when traveling, shopping and living in China. In addition, you will be exposed to basic grammar and vocabulary useful in everyday communication, including greetings, telling time, asking questions and much more. This course will also introduce you to various aspects of Chinese culture. Introduction to Mandarin Chinese is designed for those who have no previous experience learning Mandarin Chinese. This course is taught by a certified Chinese instructor.

This course is for those who have completed Chinese I or its equivalent. The course will cover more practical topics suchas transportation, food, home, offic and public places. This class will enable you to communicate in real life situations, regardless of whether your purpose is to order Chinese food, to travel or just personal interest.
