Medical Billing & Coding (900 Hours)          NEW               

This 900 hour program is designed to prepare you for employment in medical billing and health information management in physician  practices, hospitals, long term health care facilities, and other medical facilities.  You  will develop the skills necessary to perform the duties of a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist.  As a program graduate, you will be  well prepared for entry level positions in various job titles such as medical office manager, medical records technician,  or billing and coding specialists.  You will be required to complete a 180 hour externship during daytime working hours at the end of the program.  You will also be eligible to participate in the National Healthcare Association Certified  Medical Billing and Coding Specialist exam (CBCS).

You will be required to have a routine physical, a criminal background check, updated immunization records, 2-Step Mantoux TB test prior to participation in the externship portion of the program (to be discussed during orientation).

Class fee $4,760    Materials fee $1035    Total $5,795

Tuition includes textbooks and CBCS examination fee.
