Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

 

Microsoft Certified Professional candidates are required to pass one current Microsoft Certification exam that provides a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise.  The following course meets that requirement and helps prepare you for MCP certification.

 

Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Windows XP (44 hrs.)

This course provides in-depth, hands-on training for Information Technology (IT) professionals responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and support of Windows XP Professional.  When you pass the Installing, Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows® XP Professional exam (70-270), you achieve Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) status.  You also earn credit toward the following certification:  Core Credit towards MCSE or MCSA on Microsoft Windows Server 2000 or 2003 certification. Prepares students to take Exam 70-270.  Prerequisites: A+ certification or equivalent knowledge, Network+ certification or equivalent knowledge or permission of instructor.
