911 Emergency Service Telecommunicator Training (40 hrs.)

This course is designed to provide the training specified in the Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4742 governing radio and telephone dispatching for police, fire, and EMS.  The topics covered include: telephone techniques, radio procedure, CAD operation, basic computer and radio understanding, EMS, fire, and police and other related topics.  Lecture only.  The Association of Public Safety Communication Officials International (APCO) certification exam will be administered at the conclusion of the course.

The residents of Berea, Brooklyn, Brook Park, Fairview Park, Middleburg Heights, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township and Strongsville will receive a $5 discount on the tuition fees listed.
