The Instructional, Learning & Technology Leadership Institute (ILTLI) at Polaris Career Center offers intensive, on-going staff development training.  These experiences impact positively on the personal and professional lives of instructors at all levels and on the learning experiences of their students.  The Institute is a pioneer in customized "just in time" training in technology professional development for educators.

The Institute's primary purpose has been to provided training and classroom integration support to The Polaris Adult and High School Programs as well as The Polaris Associate Schools of Berea, Brooklyn, Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, and Strongsville.

The Institute has offered workshops and academies to educators and instiutitions stretching across Northern Ohio, including the Cleveland Municipal School District, The Catholic Office of Education, Cuyahoga Community College and online through The League for Innovation in The Community College. The Institute has also worked with Case Western Reserve University's JASON Expeditions. (ILTLI TeamJasonOnLine)  Our training materials are regularly prepared within the context of the online tools Polaris provides our associate district.  (Soarweb, RWLO and LearningPlace)

The Institute has received accolades, awards, recognition and grants from leading publications and institutions across the country for providing unique education and technology training in the 21st Century paradigm of student-centered, constructivist, "information age" learning. (MarcoPolo - Ohio Trainer of the Year)

November 2003, The Institute announced partnership in The Pathways Project, a $1.7Mil U.S. Dept. of Education award to develop Real World Learning Objects for the Community College.
November 1997, The Institute  announced a partnership with the Alliance for Innovation in the Community College, to develop Internet curriculum for Science instruction.
