Become a nursing assistant and enter one of the fastest growing careers in the United States. This program provides a great pathway to the healthcare field as it includes both classroom and clinical training in basic patient care required for the Nurse Aide State Exam.
Classroom training will be held at Polaris Career Center; clinical training will be conducted at a local skilled nursing facility and hospital. You will also complete the requirements and competency evaluations for certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR. Employment opportunities include positions in long-term care facilities, clinics, home health agencies and hospitals.
