Mike's Scuba Page

Mike spent 8 years diving in the South Pacific and Micronesia, while teaching at
Kwajalein High School. Interesting diving opportunities exist at Bikini , Nuclear Theme Park and Bikini, pt.2 . Mike also had the opportunity to sail with Mike Bates, who circumnavigated the globe in his sailing vessel Rhysling.

Mike also took students on dive strips while employed at Lake Ridge Academy.

Lake Ridge Academy concludes each school year with the Spring Project Program. From June 7 through June 13 1996, students took part in Individual or Group Spring Projects. That year Mrs. Jane Maczuzak offered a Dolphin research study and Mr. Mike Baker, and Mr. Don Kaatz offered a scuba dive trip through Oceanic Society Expeditions adventures, San Francisco, and Belize Research Diving of Blackbird Caye, Belize.
