 Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) at Polaris Career Center offers free classes for adults who are ready to move forward with their education and training.

Do you want to learn to speak English?

We have classes for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).  These free classes offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of English-speaking instruction for adults.   The classes also cover listening, reading, and writing and offer opportunities to learn and practice conversation. 

Do you need to get your GED, but don’t know where to start?

Whether you’ve been out of high school for years or months, you can earn your GED.  Our free classes will give you the skills and the experience you need to take and pass the GED test.

Do you have a high school diploma but need help with Entrance Tests?

Many training programs require an entrance test to be admitted.  Are your test-taking skills failing you?  Our free classes can help you review the skills you need to get past entrance tests and go on to get the training or education you want.

Do you need to improve your reading, math, or English skills?

Sometimes you just need a boost!  Maybe you’re helping kids with homework, or you’re trying to do your own taxes, and you feel like your skills are rusty.  Our classes will work with you and get you where you need to be.
