GED/Basic Skills Classes
Who needs it? This class is for you if you:
- left high school without a diploma and you want to earn your GED
- got a high school diploma but don’t feel your skills are “up to speed”
- got a high school diploma but are having trouble passing entrance tests for professional programs
What the class covers:
- Math (emphasis on problem solving, geometry, algebra, word problems)
- Reading (emphasis on analytical and critical reading of all kinds of material)
- Writing (emphasis on organizing and writing clearly)
- Locating information in graphics (tables, charts, diagrams, graphs)
- Test-taking practice, study skills, team building, learning productive habits
