GED Test Schedule

All GED Test scheduling must be done online with the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). To schedule a test, you must register, apply, and pay online at the ODE website.

Select “GED Web Application Sign In” and follow the instructions to apply for a SAFE account.
Through your SAFE account, submit your Application and Pay the $40 testing fee.
(You must pay with a Credit Card or Money Order – no personal checks or cash.)
When your application and fee have been accepted, you can Schedule your test online at any testing location in the state of Ohio.
After you’ve taken your GED test, you can use your SAFE account to find out your scores.

Take the GED Test in two days. Check in at 4:30 pm each day.
