With the help of industry representatives, the curriculum has been tailored to teach the skills that new and existing employees need.

Polaris Career Center, in partnership with Washington State Community College, is offering this 45-credit hour program which consists of courses covering basic mechanical systems, fundamental safety, health and environmental issues, basic math and science, workplace communications, and the computer and Internet skills necessary for online learning. 

This online program has been tailored to meet the needs of new and existing technicians while offering the ultimate in convenience, allowing students to learn at home while working full-time.

• The Basics – Intro to Chemical Operator; Industrial Safety/Hazmat; Process Control I; Team Concepts & Practices and Math Essentials

• The Core – Intro To Chemistry; Elementary Algebra; Applied Physics and Industrial Electricity

• Advanced Topics – Programmable Logic Control I; Process Control II; Statistical Process Control and Engineering Materials
