Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician program might be your prescription for success!

The Pharmacy Technician program prepares students for pharmacy career opportunities in retail, hospital, and long-term care settings. Pharmacy Technicians assist licensed pharmacists to provide medication and other health care products.  Pharmacy Technician students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through an unpaid externship.  The program prepares students to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam.

Prior to externship participation, students will be required to have a criminal background check, pay for their mandatory drug screening, maintain 90% classroom attendance. Some healthcare systems, physician practices, and/or pharmacies may require immunizations for students participating in externships. The cost of the immunizations is the student’s responsibility. Students will also be required to purchase their own uniforms.

Tuition Fee: $5,995
Tuition includes textbooks and certification examination fee.
