Polaris - What's In It For You?

You’re here, now what do you get for successfully completing your Polaris Program?

Credits toward High School Graduation…Get passing grades and earn the high school credits assigned to your program.

Career Passport…Pass all semesters of your Career-technical program and you will receive a portfolio of all your accomplishments created personally for you! Be sure to work hard because a failing grade in lab and/or theory for any semester will make you ineligible.

What’s in it?

·        A letter about you from the superintendent.

·        Your Certificate of Achievement (must meet criteria below).

·        Your resume and a list of the skills you learned at Polaris.

·        Your grades, attendance, and school endorsement.

·        Any Industry certifications you earn.

·        Awards, honors or other program specific certificates you earn, along with samples of your work. 

·        Certificate of Achievement…Students who earn this will be eligible for help finding jobs after they graduate!

How do I get it?

·        Maintain attendance of 95% of the total program hours, this allows for 36 periods (9 days) of absence and/or tardies per year. (this includes both excused and unexcused absences and tardies)

·        Achieve passing grades and satisfactory skill development in your program.

·        Achieve passing grades in all Polaris academic classes taken during the career-technical program time.

·       Complete your career-technical program.

The choice is yours… work hard and get it all!
