Teaching Professions Program

mayhem

The Teaching Professions Program gives high school students the chance to develop pre-service instructional skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and instruction. The program consists of two parts: classroom instruction and shadowing experiences in the first year; a variety of classroom (in-the-field) experiences in the second year.  Additionally, students learn about multiple learning styles and instruction, and the importance of integrating technology seemlessly into classroom instruction. The Teaching Professions program is a college-level, career-technical high school program.  Students may earn college credit for successful completion of the program.
