The career-technical program application process and procedures will be enacted during the 2011-2012 school year.  The following guidelines are listed chronologically.

October 2011
Polaris Career Center presentations at associate high schools to sophomores by Career Development Specialists and additional staff

October 28, 2011
High school catalogs are mailed to all homes of sophomore students

November 14, 15 & 16, 2011
Polaris Career Center Sophomore Visitation Days

November 16, 2011
Online registration begins at 5:00 p.m.

Polaris Career Center New Parent Open House

December 8, 2011
Completed sophomore on-line applications turned in to Polaris
(Parental Consent Form and Transcript)

January – April, 2012
Career Tech Thursdays – Visit a career-technical program to experience a typical classroom day

December 2011 – June 2012
Letters of acceptance and/or conditional acceptance mailed in bulk by school to students based on enrollment allotment

January 6, 2012
Open enrollment for all sophomores (release of guaranteed seats based upon allotment)

February, 2012
Letters of acceptance and/or conditional acceptance open to junior students based on open enrollment and program availability

May 2012
New student evening orientation programs

August 2012
Registration packets mailed to students

August 2012
First day of school
