The CIESE
team is currently disseminating information about its Spring 2002 online
collaborative K-12 science education projects. These projects are run in
cooperation with a U.S. Department of Education Technology Innovation Challenge
Grant. These educational collaborative projects afford students from
various parts of the country or the world an opportunity to work together
to solve problems and conduct real world scientific investigations. Projects
include Global Water Sampling Project,
Global Sun Temperature Project, International Boiling Point Project, Human
Genetics Project, and the Square of Life Study in
local and global environments.

-- wind tunnels, simulators, supercomputers, flight research, air safety,
& technology.
Women of NASA, which profiles women aeronautics experts as role models
for young girls.
Mars Team Online, which explores Mars & missions to the red planet.
Projects include email Q&A, real-time Internet audio/video programs,
