English As A Second Language

This class provides adults from other countries an opportunity
to learn English for citizenship, employment, or simple communication.

Emphasis is placed on everyday English in both spoken
and written form.

PRE-GED

This class was developed for the individual who wants
to obtain the skills necessary to pass the G.E.D. Test, but proceed at
a more leisurely pace. Instruction is provided in the areas of grammar,
literature, math and writing.

Methods of applying these skills to science and social
studies will be introduced.

G.E.D. Preparation

This program is designed for the individual who wants
to obtain a High School Equivalency Certificate. Instruction is geared
to stress those areas found on the G.E.D. Test. Grammar, literature,
writing and math will be covered during class sessions.

This is excellent preparation for those interested in
entering the workforce or expanding existing workplace skills.
