Polaris Career Center offers a wide variety of classes to help you achieve certifications, enhance your skill set or advance in your career.

Polaris Career Center offers dozens of continuing education courses for people just like you who want to gain skills. Just because you’re not in school anymore, doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of opportunities to learn new things, meet new people and develop new interests.

When you sign up, you can look forward to hands-on education from highly experienced instructors. The courses are held right here on the Polaris Career Center campus in Middleburg Heights to make education accessible and affordable for all. Plus, we keep the class sizes small so that students receive plenty of attention from instructors to facilitate learning.

Our Continuing Education Courses
With a diverse range of continuing education courses, Polaris Career Center offers something for everyone interested in expanding their skills and exploring new subjects. We offer a variety of courses in the following areas:

Accounting, Bookkeeping: Learn the details of managing business finances.
Business & Event Planning: Polaris offers several series of courses that can help you get launch your own business, learn the ins and outs of event planning or gain organizational acumen. 
Child Care Provider In-Service Training: Gain valuable insights on important topics, like pediatric first aid and child abuse.
Computer Applications: Become proficient in essential software, including Microsoft Word and Excel, internet use and other important skills.
Construction: Stay up-to-date on the latest methods and best practices for plumbing and construction projects.
Electrical: These courses are designed to expand your current skill set and knowledge of commercial and electrical wiring, as well as safety standards.
Google: Google is so much more than a search engine. From Facebook Marketplace to managing a cloud-based calendar, organizing your photos or creating spreadsheets, our Google courses and series will teach you what you need to know.
Graphic and Web Design: Hone your skills with classes covering Adobe products, HTML coding, Wordpress and other essentials.
Industrial Technology: Learn the basics of welding, sheet metal fabrication or HVAC maintenance.
Information Technology (IT) and Programming: Study advanced programming and software and strategies.
Organizational Leadership: Learn valuable leadership skills and how to put them into action in real-life scenarios.
Small Engine Repair: Get hands-on experience with small engine repair and maintenance.
Statistics for Engineers/SolidWorks/CAD: Come face-to-face with the software and tools needed for drafting, construction design and more.
Weekend Warriors: Spend a Saturday with us and learn flooring, drywall, electrical or plumbing techniques to keep your home feeling new.

Unlike the continuing education courses above, these classes allow you to take courses at home or on the go.
