How to Register

Registration must take place in person. Find out what you need to bring with you.

How to Register

Have questions or want to register? Call 440.891.7697.
 
All students must register in-person (M-T 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, F 8:30 AM - 3 PM) and bring the following:
  • The student’s high school diploma/transcript (from an accredited high school) or GED (General Equivalent Development), or its equivalent.
  • The student’s valid government issued photo ID (i.e., driver’s license)
  • Tuition payment (depending on financial aid award-see below)
In addition, the following are requirements for specific programs:
Cosmetology – students will need to show proof of State of Ohio residency (recent original utility bill (tax bill, lease etc.)
Natural Resources/Ranger/Basic Peace Officer Academy –
a) students must be 21 years of age by the completion of the program,
b) show proof of a valid driver’s license,
c) show proof of current automobile insurance,
d) complete a satisfactory drug screening,
e) complete a physical exam with satisfactory results,
f) complete a background check with satisfactory results (No felonies or serious misdemeanors),
g) complete a physical fitness assessment (15% of the state required standards)

At our Open Houses, you can meet our instructors and tour Polaris Career Center, find out more about financial aid, interest-free tuition payment plans, Federal Student Loans and Pell Grants. You can also attend a financial aid presentation and receive information about all financial aid options, tuition payments and answers to your questions.
