Students enrolled in middle school programs receive an introduction to STEM related careers through hands-on, inquiry-based learning.

    While working in teams, students use the VEX Robotics® platform to design, build, and program real-world objects and learn about mechanical systems, energy transfer, machine automation, and computer control systems.

Polaris offers satellite, or off-campus, programming in our partner school districts as a means to deliver accessible, high quality educational services in the surrounding communities. Today, four Project Lead the Way® Gateway programs serve over 1,900 middle school students at Berea-Midpark, Brooklyn, Fairview Park, Olmsted Falls, North Olmsted and Strongsville middle schools. Course offering includes Design & Modeling, Medical Detectives, Automation & Robotics and App Creators.
