Drug Testing Information
June 2022
Junior and senior students in the following programs are required to complete a drug test:
Criminal Justice
Emergency Medical Technician/Fire Training
Medical Professions
Pre-Nursing
Pre-Veterinary Science
Drug testing is available on either
Wednesday, June 22, 2022
, between the hours of
9
:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m
. or
Tuesday, July 12, 2022,
between the hours of
1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Please be sure to arrive an hour prior to the end time to ensure that an appropriate sample can be obtained.
Drug testing will take place at Polaris Career Center, located at
7285 Old Oak Blvd., Middleburg Heights, OH 44130
.
On the day of testing, students must have valid photo ID (i.e.., driver’s license or school ID). Parents will need to complete the Polaris Career Center Informed Consent Agreement.
If you choose to obtain a drug test from your family doctor, Polaris Career Center does not agree to pay the expense for a drug test not secured through the designated Great Lakes Biomedical. Results must be submitted to Anita Giesel via email (
agiesel@polaris.edu
). Test results must be received by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022.
