Congratulations to Polaris Aspire ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) instructor Melissa Kleem (right) on being named the Outstanding Ohio Adult Educator of the Year during last month’s Ohio Adult Education Week celebration. Melissa was selected among 70 nominees for the honor. She has been an instructor with the Polaris Aspire ESOL Program for five years, teaching Beginner and Advanced English, Career and College Readiness, and IET (Integrated Education & Training) Civics and Employability. Melissa's dedication to her students and devotion to immersing them in the English language and culture by introducing them to community resources and events, combined with her love of teaching, made her the obvious choice for the award.
