Summer is just around the corner, and once again, it’s time to explore Polaris at Camp Discovery. Each year, this interactive, thrill-packed summer camp gives students entering the sixth, seventh and eighth grades a chance to experience what Polaris is all about in a fun, hands-on environment. This year, classes will run June 10-13, 2024, and feature both morning and afternoon sessions at a cost of $150 per student, including all supplies, lunch each day and a FREE camp t-shirt. Popular classes fill up quickly, so interested students are encouraged to enroll ASAP.
The 2024 Camp Discovery class lineup is the biggest ever and includes the following: BioBlast: Solve a Medical Mystery; Cardboard Creations: Hydraulic Engineering; Cricut™ Crafty Creations; Culinary Creations; Digital Illustration; Game of Drones; IT Discoveries; Jewelry Design; Junior Police Academy; Junior Veterinarian; Let’s Build; Mini Makeover; Robo-Rally Racing; Start Your Engines; Take-Two: Video Production and Film-Making; Video Game Design and Young Entrepreneurs. Many of these classes are aligned with existing Polaris programs and are intended to expose students to exciting career opportunities.
Camp Discovery is only open to students who reside in the following school districts: Berea, Brooklyn, Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls and Strongsville.
