Local seventh- and eighth-grade girls are invited to explore the world of construction during the Second Annual BuildHER Event at Polaris on Saturday, March 7, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. This engaging, hands-on construction workshop is designed to introduce students to high-demand careers in the construction industry through fun, real-world lab experiences.
Sponsored by Henkel Corporation and Regency Construction Services, BuildHER features interactive activities led by Polaris instructors alongside student leaders, offering participants an authentic look at construction skills, tools and career pathways.
The $25 registration fee includes all lab experiences and materials, a hands-on project to take home, a free BuildHER t-shirt, construction-themed giveaways and lunch.
