Polaris is growing - and VISION2029 is our roadmap for where we go next.
As we begin a new school year, Superintendent Diane Xander has unveiled VISION2029, Polaris Career Center’s strategic plan for the next three years and beyond. More than a document, it is a shared vision for how we will continue to evolve, innovate and create even greater opportunities for the students and communities we serve.
The timing couldn’t be better. Enrollment continues to climb, new programs and facilities are expanding our reach, and employers increasingly look to Polaris as a pipeline for skilled, career-ready talent. Keeping pace with that momentum means continually asking an important question: What will our students and our communities need next?
Answering that question requires collaboration. VISION2029 was shaped by input from the people who know Polaris best - including our staff, students, families, business and industry partners, community organizations and higher education partners. It also reflects the tremendous support of our six associate school districts: Berea, Brooklyn, Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls and Strongsville.
Together, we are focused on ensuring Polaris remains a school of choice that prepares students not only for today’s opportunities, but for the careers of tomorrow.

These priorities touch every part of the Polaris experience - from the programs students choose and the technology they use to the facilities where they learn and the partnerships that connect them with real-world opportunities.
Looking ahead, innovation will remain at the heart of our work. We will continue investing in modern facilities and technology, strengthening teaching and learning, developing relevant programs and deepening relationships with employers and higher education. Most importantly, we will remain focused on creating pathways that help every student discover their potential and build a successful future.
